These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by CurrencyGram Ltd ("CurrencyGram", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12345678), with its registered office at 25 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1DS.
CurrencyGram is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FCA Register No. 987654) and is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
To open and maintain a CurrencyGram account, you must:
CurrencyGram personal accounts provide current account services including a UK sort code and account number, a Mastercard debit card, and access to domestic and international payment services.
CurrencyGram business accounts are available to sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies registered in the United Kingdom. Business accounts include additional features such as invoicing, multi-user access, and expense management tools.
We offer multiple account tiers (Free, Plus, and Premium) with varying features and monthly fees. Full details of current plan pricing and features are available on our Pricing page. We may change plan features and pricing with 60 days' notice.
You can use your CurrencyGram account to:
We apply the real mid-market exchange rate for currency conversions during market hours. A small markup may apply outside market hours and on weekends. Specific rates and any applicable fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction.
CurrencyGram is committed to transparent pricing. Our fee schedule is available in the app and on our website. We will notify you of any changes to fees at least 60 days in advance. You may close your account free of charge if you do not agree with any fee changes.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must:
We will never ask you for your full PIN, password, or card details by phone, email, or message. If anyone requests these, it is a scam.
Eligible deposits with CurrencyGram are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 per eligible depositor. For more information about the FSCS, visit fscs.org.uk.
You can close your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. Before closing your account, you must:
We may close your account with 60 days' notice if we have a legitimate reason, or immediately if we suspect fraudulent activity or a breach of these Terms.
If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us via the app, by email at [email protected], or by post. We aim to resolve all complaints within 15 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
CurrencyGram shall not be liable for any losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to system failures, acts of third parties, or regulatory changes. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes at least 60 days before they take effect, via email and/or in-app notification. Your continued use of CurrencyGram services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your right to refer complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
